No Sweeter Thing!

I am so much more fragile than I seem to be Sometimes all you see is strong, confident, bold and courageous I know weakness, insecurity, faint-hearted and fearful

Or you see passion, purpose and God’s presence

I know indifference, apathy and darkness

Then you see Christ-follower, heart full of love, purity I know Christ-denial, hate and unwholesome living I have known complete, utter rejection AND deep, unconditional acceptance I have known sadness and desperate grief, YET have felt abiding joy and soul-filled delight

I am a work in progress, I fumble and fall

I have victory in Christ, I have overcome much I love “big”, with everlasting hope and often small faith I enjoy pleasant conversations, sharing my heart and playful days To the few who know all parts of me and still care, I am ever grateful for your steadfast and faithful friendships To the ones who’ve seen glimpses and walked away, I am thankful God allowed me to learn through it We must always remember that only God knows every part of us

So today, I praise Him for His goodness & grace…

I am blessed, even when I don’t always realize it.

I am loved and cherished, even when I don’t always feel it. I am needed, even when I see no evidence of it.

I am treasured, because I am HIS and He is mine!

My favorite verse in the bible is this: “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

Folks, He NEVER leaves, He NEVER forsakes or stops caring, He NEVER says you are a lost cause. He left heaven to die for you… won’t you trust Him? Surrender your all & live for Him? There is NO SWEETER thing!
