The Reason for the Season

JESUS – the reason for the season – AND:

Jesus... The reason I am alive The reason I have hope everlasting The reason I have peace beyond my comprehension The reason I have compassion The reason I love as deeply as I do The reason I have a tender heart in a tough and sin-sick world The reason I forgive The reason I can sing The reason I worship The reason I repent - daily

The reason I must pray The reason I live and breathe The reason I get up each day The reason I praise The reason I can smile, even when I don’t “feel” like it The reason I have joy, even in the midst of sorrow The reason I have victory The reason I am a new creation The reason I no longer live in sin The reason I know heaven is where I'll spend eternity!

37 years ago, I surrendered my heart and life to Jesus. Then 22 years ago, after running away from Him, I felt Him wooing my heart back and by His grace, I re-committed my life to Him. While my journey hasn’t been easy, I’ll never regret surrendering anew every hurt, hang-up and hardship to Him.

Not only is Jesus the reason for this season, but He is the reason for EVERY season – in life and on the calendar. Without Him, life has no purpose and eternity is grim. With Him, I have a future and can fulfill His plan, knowing that one day I will get to be with Him forever! Do you know Jesus? Is He LORD of your life?

I urge you TODAY – repent and believe, trust Him for the salvation of your soul! Let Him be your reason too and live for Him!
