HOPE

I posted the status below a week or so ago.... as I've prayed a lot today, and thought about the brevity of life, my heart is just so overwhelmed with the fact that many people that I know do not have a personal relationship with Jesus -- which means that if they were to suddenly lose their life tonight, they would not be in heaven, they would eternally be separated from God and in ETERNAL torment.

It. just. breaks. my. heart.

Even in the midst of loss, I have hope that the people I've lost in my life that knew Christ, I WILL see again one day. The deepest desire of my heart is that not ONE person reading this leaves this world without the COMPLETE ASSURANCE that heaven WILL BE their home for eternity.

Life has many choices - eternity only has two -- which will you choose?

Cancer... Loved ones dying... Abuse... Suicide... Families torn apart... BUT THERE IS HOPE!!!

Barren wombs... Children neglected... Fathers absent... Mothers weary and worn... BUT THERE IS HOPE!!!

Betrayal... Adultery... Lies... Divorce... BUT THERE IS HOPE!!

Hard hearts... Bitter lives... Unforgiving souls... Pride and self-centeredness... BUT THERE IS HOPE!!!

Addictions... Depression... Death... Discouragement... Unrelenting discontent... BUT THERE IS HOPE!!!

No matter what this life here on earth may bring... No matter what challenges and sins we may face... THERE IS HOPE!!!

& Hope has a name -- His name is Jesus! And for those who know Him, this life on earth is just the beginning and praise God -- THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!

I may not know why or have all the answers when hardships and loss occur and we are faced with the decision to either fear or have faith. But THIS I KNOW--- God is still good...

God knows it all... And His plan is always for our good & His glory, even when we can't see it at the time!

God alone knows what it's like to be beaten, mocked, ridiculed, abandoned, ignored, and yet He chose to die the cruelest death so we could be free from the penalty of sin. Because of His sacrifice, we have access to God and as a born-again Christian, we never have to fear death or hell. Oh to know Him & the peace only He brings!!

To know the hope that Jesus brings, that is my prayer tonight -- for every person I know and everyone else too! May you not leave this world without assurance of knowing Him and what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus!

There. Is. And. Always. Will. Be. HOPE!!
