Having it "All together"

“Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.” Psalm 51:6

This messed up culture we live in often demands that Christians constantly portray the image of success, happiness, optimism and the appearance of “having it all together”…

To attempt to project such a flawless image is to reject the simple truth of who we REALLY are – wretched, wicked sinners saved only by grace, through faith in Jesus.

To live a life with zero conflict, hardship or mistakes would be a shallow existence indeed! The Christian with depth that will impact this world for the furtherance of the gospel is the one who has failed and has learned to live with the failure -- BUT who continually repents and points to the One who cannot fail, to the One who IS in control, to the One who cannot sin.

JESUS is the only truth, the only way, the only life that brings eternal peace and the gift to one day live in God’s holy presence forever and ever.

Do you KNOW Him? If so, do you LOVE Him above ALL else? Why not choose today to surrender your life to Jesus and make Him LORD over all your life?

Only by trusting in Him will you have peace and rest, in this life and the next! AMEN!
