In Light of Eternity

Today, I am thankful for: True. biblical. perspective.

In our lifetime here on earth, many elections will come and go... people will come and go... jobs will come and go... health will come and go... wealth will come and go... dreams will come and go... trials will come and go... victories will come and go...

But there are two things will last forever - the unchanging Word of God and the souls of men!

Regardless of who the president is, Jesus is still Lord over all!

It is my privilege as a born-again believer to share the Word of God with as many souls as I can, while I am given another day!

May my marriage be gospel-centered... May my parenting be gospel-centered... May my friendships be gospel-centered... May my finances be gospel-centered... May my words be gospel-centered... May my attitudes be gospel-centered... May my actions be gospel-centered... May every moment of my life be lived to know Jesus and to make Him known!

Today, as I prepare my heart for our last night with our sweet foster son, all I can think about is the need for revival in our hearts, our homes, our communities, and our country!

We need to be focused on our eternity and the legacy we are leaving for our children and grandchildren. If the Lord tarries and I get blessed with a long life here, I pray I will be faithful to spread the gospel without ceasing, to love the unlovable, forgive the unforgivable & have faith to believe for the unbelievable!
