"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
We cannot truly know ourselves until we understand and know who God is and find our identity in Him and His Word. Oh, how I praise Him for these truths!! Who God says I am: I am made in God’s image I was chosen before the world was made, created and equipped for good works I am saved by grace through faith I am adopted into His family I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me I am no longer condemned I am seated with Christ I was knit together in my mother’s womb I am truly and deeply loved by God I am secure in my relationship with Him I have been set free in Christ I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb I am a minister of reconciliation, appointed to bear fruit I am complete in Christ, forgiven of ALL my sins I am an overcomer that can do all things through Christ who strengthens me I am able to endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ I am a NEW creation I have passed from death into life My inner man is being renewed day by day I am beloved of God I have been justified by faith & I have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ! AMEN!!
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." Galatians 2:20
"But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13b-14 Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for a past full of failure that You redeemed and for a deeper faith in You, the faithful One who never fails. Thank You, that by Your grace I can now walk in victory, no longer a victim to circumstances, free to walk in obedience to the God who saved my life. Thank You for a future that I cannot even comprehend, yet I long for more each day! May this day bring me closer to You. I surrender every part of my heart and life to You and a You alone. I love You Lord, because You first loved me. May I generously share that love everywhere I go today. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen!!
