While you Keep Silent

“The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent.” Exodus 14:14 I’ve heard this verse many different ways over the years... I’ve heard the second part as “while you are still” and “while you keep calm”... Things we don’t easily want to do when there’s a trial or obstacle in our life is to keep silent, be still, or keep calm. As my prayer life has increased and deepened since becoming a foster parent, so has my appreciation for the deep deep love, mercy & grace of God in my own life’s story. I know that my life would’ve been nothing but a mess, were it not for God so graciously answering the prayers of my family and friends! To honor a promise I made to my husband and daughter today, and to put what’s most important first in my life, I’m taking a break from social media. Join me in fervent prayer for my family as we all take this break from the temporary things to focus on that which lasts— God’s word and the souls of men. If anyone needs to reach me for any reason, you can text my phone or email me at: KRCleveland523@gmail “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Jim Elliot
